We Are a Phoenix

Held in your arms,
I am a Dove
Who quivers long
From songs of love.
You'd sent your arrow
Swift and deep
To find me quietly asleep.
You kissed my Soul
You sang for me
A crystal rainbow's
Harmony
Awakened now,
No longer dead
I am a Raven near your bed
And crawl aside you
As you dream
To kiss you sweetly
As your heart beams
We walk the lights
And streaming nights
Aflame with passion
Beyond delights
A gift in time
Of Joys sublime
Our bodies won
By love's decision
Our dance a charm
Of Heat's precision

Underwater Kiss

Oh how you came and left me trembling,
A star that shined, but for a song,
A kindness memory, now mending,
What I once thought was all our own.

But time is well inducing visions
Of all desire's tapestry
We're here and swimming in this ocean
Of life's imagined revelry

And now, these thoughts of you
Are never few beside me
You surround me, as feathers fall~

Each thought
I send in love
as tender
Each a mender
Of some false hope

Beneath the pages dusty fragrance
So unprepared for love with you
There will be time again forever
To build a bridge, and start anew

The Falling Rain

Was it a dream, an apparition ?
The way you spoke, and made me feel ?
Or is your stand my own contrition ?
To toughen up my bleeding knees?

Beneath the trees in earlly Springtime
You pledged your heart, as beating true
You sang a song of love's redemption
So sure was I, the truth was you.

And now my Soul is longing for you
It is the longing bringing light
Upon my trappings and misgivings
And how my thoughts of love take flight

These tears are falling rain of whispers
Upon the meadows flowered green
They wash the dusty earth and shimmer
Upon the roses of my dreams.

A call goes out to you, my darling
It doesn't matter if you speak
True love's the mirror glitter falling
To bare the places where I'm weak

A single kiss, a sweet embracing
Of who I have become to be
Your artful acts of love replacing
The who I never was to me

Your caring heart was true for moments
Till shadows fell and brought the fear.
And now, a call to you in heaven
A  tone of lights to bring you here

Stones

Creation's Pearl of Solitude,
A brightened Star Unfurls as
Songs of Deepened Mystics'
Hearts become the Ancient
Stones of Peace and War
Mercy and Silken mirrored judgements,

Pillars of the mind's climb to the
Divided Heaven's waters
The floated shores branch precision's charms
As we are each one desire,
For freedom's Masts be lifted

Over the quiet
Guided dance of
God's delights
Serene and pondering answers to
plundering quests
of chance and choice

Angels sent
to shine the fullness of Time
Messages of light's hues and colors
Folded into Choirs of dreams and
Palaces of love's eyes upon the scales of death !

A feather glided
to and fro like a mother bird with
Nourishment for her young
Off the shoulders of two as one
Entwines the garden, spills no seed
Desire changed to heaven's home
Desire no longer fuel for bondage.
Oh Egypt !
Longer visions near the Temple Pillars
The Priests fraught with their wants of what ?
The Dance !!!
Where mirrored fields of flowers are scented with crystal tears
And fertile with the blood of battles and kindred callings.

On a Cool Evening

On a cool evening
As the stars of Heaven spin in Slow Motion
Within your clear blue Ocean eyes
You hypnotized me with your rapier wit
And charming, jeweled words beneath the moon.
A minstrel floating tween the trees
You sang a tune to open  gates of Castles strong.
My fate sealed
I set my heart to evade you
As best be, like a Gazelle
Chased by a predator
Running
Running
Then you caught me.
My heart in your sling,
I was a flower, picked in June
All reason lost, no need for walls,
The river wailed against our bodies
Our kiss, a plunge into the Ocean's salt.
Our thirst ignited by a spark of star glow
Across the skies
Your eyes a glowing circle
A spinning river of fire through
The labyrinths of Soul
I asked a question of the nearest twig and
Waited in patience, while ants strolled over my toes
Lightning lifted the gates open wide and in came
The river, the Holy river,
Warmed by crystal pebbles from a flume, it
Washes over us as we dream.
You are my eyes
You are my heart

My Pyre

Beneath the cradled clouds of Sprintime
I was a schoolgirl neath your charms
A trembling bird upon the new nest
About to fly from mother's arms

You drew a string to pull the Moon down
My breathless heart awaited fire !
Within the tempered glass that shattered
A seed of love, you were my pyre

The rivers flow, the oceans swell
my pores, my blood, the story tells
Of endless love found in a dream
Of longing streams that ever gleam

Now time as hell awaits we tell
The secrets of the heart's desire
You'll carry all the light we need
Our hearts as one, our souls a fire
